Armchair BEA Day Four
What fictional world would you want to live in?
Everyone dreams of being part of a fictional world at one point or another. I am definitely not an exception to that. There are so many to choose from. Who doesn't want to go to Hogwarts, right?! I would really love to live within the A Court of Thorns and Roses series by Sarah J Maas. Specifically within The Night Court. I still have a little over a hundred pages left in A Court of Mist and Fury, but as I was reading I was often thinking, "These, these are my people." If you haven't picked up this series yet, I really hope you do. The atmosphere is so beautiful despite the darkness that looms. Honorable mentions include Camp Half Blood from the Percy Jackson and the Olympians series by Rick Riordan and Emerge by Tobie Easton. The latter because who doesn't want to be a mermaid?!
Which worlds do you never want to dive into?
The Maze Runner is another one. I actually have read books one through three and I just wouldn't last. I'll leave it to the characters that James Dashner has created. Also, I haven't read these books so I'm just going off of what I have heard about them. I would not want to be a part of the world within either Game of Thrones or The Hunger Games. From my understanding a lot of people die and it's been a running joke within my friends/family that I'd be the person in that Geico commercial who wants to hide behind the chainsaws. You know the one?

Which worlds are you content to stay behind the glass, so to speak, rather than wishing to dive through the page?
Definitely Jurassic Park by Michael Crichton. As much as I love the story and the dinosaurs, I am definitely happy to watch from afar. Which is basically what we're all doing when we watch the movies. And while I've only read book one, I wouldn't mind watching The Darkest Minds by Alexandra Bracken from the sidelines. What about you?
Thank you for taking the time to read my fourth Armchair BEA post. I can't believe the week is practically over! I can't wait to do this again next year! I have loved interacting with all of you! Feel free to leave a comment about the fictional worlds you would or would not want to be a part of!
Xoxo,
Gabriella
